Houston K-911 Rescue is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs across Texas, with a strong focus on medical emergencies and severe neglect cases. From injured strays to abandoned pets, we provide life-saving treatment, rehabilitation, and a safe path toward adoption.
From the streets to safe homes
Houston K-911 Rescue was born from a passion to save the most vulnerable dogs. Founded by Anna Barbosa, our team began rescuing strays in Houston but quickly expanded across Texas. We saw too many dogs left behind with broken bones, untreated illnesses, and little hope—so we stepped in. Today, we’ve saved thousands of lives through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption.
